  • Reading time:1 mins read

The FDA is currently investigating outbreaks of Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella Newport and Oranienburg, and E. coli O121 infections. For the Listeria outbreak, the source is yet to be determined, and no information is available on patient details or geographical locations.

The FDA has initiated on-site inspections and sample collections for the E. coli O121 outbreak, aiming to identify the source and mitigate further infections. However, specific details about the inspected location and tested food have not been disclosed.

The FDA has concluded its investigation of an E. coli O103 outbreak, which infected 12 people, without determining the pathogen’s source. The outbreak has been declared over, as reported on Nov. 5.
