In response, Sammy’s Milk reiterated that its product is expressly formulated for children aged 12 to 36 months, a fact prominently displayed on both packaging and online platforms. The flagged product, bearing the lot code SD348 and a “Best by” date of August 2025, was exclusively distributed online.
In an official statement endorsed by the FDA, the company emphasized the critical importance of adhering to the recommended age range for consumption. It explicitly cautioned against using Goat Milk Toddler Formula for infants under 12 months of age, urging consumers to discontinue such usage. This development recalls a previous recall in 2016, where Sammy’s Milk recalled all lots of its Baby Food due to the potential presence of Cronobacter bacteria.
